China National Materials Group Corporation (SINOMA), established in 1983, a central government-administered enterprise directly under the administration of State-owed Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, is the only enterprise that possesses a series of core technologies and complete innovation system in non-metal materials industry of China and integrates the manufacturing, scientific research and design of non-metal materials and products, project engineering and construction, equipment manufacturing as well as international trade. The Group has been listed among the China Top 500 enterprises for successive years.

SINOMA possesses three primary backbone industries which respectively are the manufacturing of non-metal  materials, engineering and construction service of non-metal materials and non-metal mining, and six national-level core technologies, namely, glass fiber technology, composite material technology, synthetic crystal technology, industrial and special ceramic technology, new dry process cement technology and equipment, profound processing technology and equipment manufacturing of non-metal minerals. Certain of these technologies are also in the leading position of the world.

SINOMA is holding equities in 69 enterprises, both directly-controlled and proprietarily-controlled; among them, there are 4 publicly listed and 27 non-listed corporations, 13 national research and design institutes, and 26 geological engineering exploration academies; branches are not only sited all over China, but also in the United States, Europe, Japan, Middle-east and African countries, etc.
